Flatmate Flow

How it works

From chaos to sorted in three steps.

Setting up the house takes about five minutes. After that, Flatmate Flow runs itself.

01

Step one

Create your household.

Sign up with an email and a password. That's it. Name your house ("Beachside HQ", "The Cardboard Mansion", whatever) and Flatmate Flow generates a join code on the spot. It's free. No credit card needed.

You're the first person in. You don't need to wait for everyone else to be ready. Set up the bills you already know about, drop a few chores in, and the rest of the house can join when they're ready.

Step two

Invite your roommates.

Share the join code in your existing house group chat. Your roommates download nothing. They sign up at flatmateflow.com on whatever device they already have, paste the code, and they're in.

Everyone in the house sees the same data the moment they join. Bills you've already added, chores already rostered, shopping list as it stands. No resyncing, no "are you seeing the same thing as me?" Slack threads.

Step three

Get on with your life.

Bills auto-split using the custom splits you set. Chores auto-rotate on the cycle you picked (weekly, fortnightly, 28-day, whatever fits). The shopping list ticks itself off when someone scans the receipt. The household budget updates as the money moves.

You've set the rules once. The app does the work. You go back to actually living in your house instead of running it like a part-time job.
